“Dyscalculia”, a work as poetic as it is impactful, caused a sensation at the International Animation Film Festival (PIAFF) 2025. This short film by the young Moroccan artist Kawtar Waddi, AKA Sanjaune, won the Graphics Prize.

This 2 mins 04 animated film tells the poignant story of a person suffering from dyscalculia, a learning disorder linked to difficulty understanding and manipulating numbers. Through metaphorical visuals and careful visual narration, Kawtar invites the viewer to experience the daily life of this person, trapped in a world where numbers and calculations are omnipresent, but inaccessible.
