The Montreal South of Midnight game released in April [vidéo]

South of Midnightgame designed by the Montreal studio Compulsion Games, will be released on April 8 on Xbox Series X/S and PC, we learned Thursday.

As a reminder, Compulsion Games is the studio behind We Happy Few et Contrast. In June 2018, during the E3, Microsoft announced the acquisition of the Montreal company. South of Midnight is therefore the first game that comes out since this partnership.

South of Midnight is an action-adventure game in the third person taking place in the deep south of the United States.

“Play Hazel and explore a dark and fantastic universe, where you will discover the myths and creatures of the South of the United States of America. When a natural disaster falls on his hometown, Hazel is called to become a weavers: a caregiver whose magic can coat the experienced links and heal the spirits. The launch date of April 8 was confirmed Thursday during the Direct Developer of Xbox. We also learned that an early access was going to be deployed on April 3.

The studio has also unveiled a brand new narrative trailer, which highlights new elements in the history of South of Midnight.
