Awareness initiatives are deployed to inform families and educational staff about the risks associated with measles and prevention practices. Furthermore, a vaccination campaign has been underway since October to ensure the protection of children, with families being invited to have their children’s health records checked.
If measles is detected in a student, the procedures include immediate isolation of the case and medical examination of contact persons, in order to limit any risk of spread.
