Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2 will launch this year, approximately eight years after the first version. Details on this will be revealed on April 2.
The video game giant will then organize several events in certain major cities to test the new portable console, such as in Paris between April 4 and 6 and in Tokyo on April 26 and 27.
Nintendo has announced that most games from the first Switch will be compatible. Released in March 2017, its sales will have totaled 146.04 million units by the end of September 2024.
-Among the notable differences, the Switch 2 is larger and thicker, it has a more practical kickstand than the old one and an additional USB-C port.
