Jean Andreu, composer and performer of French songs, also singing teacher and choir director, shares his artistic expertise. He invites singing enthusiasts to join the “Jean Andreu Côté Chœur” course, specially designed for amateur choristers.
This course highlights the art of “choral singing”, a collective adventure which will culminate with an exceptional final concert scheduled for Saturday May 3, 2025. Jean Andreu and the choristers will perform on stage at the Olivier Carol space to perform eight songs with an arrangement by Franc Saint-Paul, writing professor at the Toulouse Conservatory.
The course includes 30 hours of workshops and rehearsals as well as two online workshops with the artist beforehand. A private piano-voice concert, dress rehearsal and final concert are also included.
The musicians and technicians are: Maxime Calcio (guitar), Didier Curylo (bass and double bass), Gabriel Delmas (drums), Thomas Fontas (piano) and Marie-Madeleine Mille (cello). The technicians are: Victor Martin (lighting management), Julien Ludovic (sound and stage management), Christophe Piquemal (reception organization technician), Cécile Jourdes (salt travel).
To ensure its holding, this course requires a minimum of 35 participants registered before March 30, 2025, aged 18 or over.
-Participants will be accommodated and will rehearse in the enchanting setting of the village of Lambbrisses, located in La Bastide-de-Sérou.
