The police forces of the Anfa security zone, in Casablanca, carried out, on Friday January 17, the arrest of two road users, suspected of being involved in acts of dangerous and exhibitionist driving, involving jeopardize the safety of people and property.

This rapid intervention echoes the broadcast of a video showing motorists carrying out dangerous maneuvers of a spectacular nature. In response to these facts, the security services carried out operations on the ground, leading to the arrest of the two drivers and the seizure of their respective vehicles.

The preliminary investigation revealed, thanks to a consultation of the databases of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), that one of the individuals arrested was the subject of a search warrant at the national level, due to of his alleged involvement in matters of a financial and economic nature.

The two seized vehicles were placed in municipal impound, while the suspects were subjected to a judicial investigation, carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. This procedure aims to elucidate the exact circumstances of this case and to identify possible accomplices or co-perpetrators of the incriminated acts.

Investigations are continuing in order to put a definitive end to this dangerous behavior and to bring all those involved to justice.
