As announced by Le360, Moroccan keeper Anas Zniti has officially joined the Emirati club Al-Wasl. On its social networks, the team based in Dubai announces that the Moroccan international will only play in the Asian Champions League due to the legislation in force in the United Arab Emirates.

“Anas Zniti, guardian of the “Emperor’s” lair for external competitions” specifies the Al-Wasl press release. Indeed, in the United Arab Emirates, goalkeepers over the age of 23 cannot play in the league.

As a reminder, Anas Zniti and Raja recently separated amicably. The African champion with the Atlas Lions at CHAN had to give up a large sum of money in order to terminate his contract.

As a reminder, during his career, the 36-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper wore the jersey of Maghreb Fez, AS FAR and Raja. He was also international several times with the Atlas Lions.
