A collision between two vehicles took place on Wednesday January 15, early in the evening, between Engenville and Intville-la-Guétard, in the north of Loiret.
According to initial information, a heavy moving truck and a vehicle traveling at high speed collided. On this section of the road there is a double lane on one side and a single lane on the other. Visibility at the time of the accident was greatly reduced by thick fog.
Transported to the university hospital
Three people were involved in the accident. A 54-year-old victim, who was driving the car, was extricated with difficulty by firefighters. Around 9 p.m., she was transported, seriously injured and treated, to Orléans University Hospital by the Smur. The two occupants of the heavy goods vehicle were unhurt.
Traffic has been completely cut off on this axis, in both directions, since 7 p.m. Twelve firefighters were engaged.
