Oppo is gearing up to take Honor’s crown with the launch of the Find N5, which is touted as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone. The company will also launch the Watch X2, and as confirmed in one of the recent teasers, the smartwatch will come with a blood pressure monitoring feature.

Zhou Yibao, product manager at Oppo, even showed this feature in action. However, the photo shared by the official did not reveal the design of the smartwatch. In the photo, the Watch X2 had a waterproof case, but the visible parts of the watch suggest that it will look like the last generation.

Coming back to the blood pressure monitoring function, the Oppo official specifies that it will be able to alert users when unusual pressure is detected. However, it’s worth noting that the feature doesn’t appear to rely on a specialized armband that the Huawei Watch D series smartwatches use.

This means that the blood pressure monitoring feature could be very similar to that of the OnePlus Watch 2 (currently $242.80 at Amazon). Of course, given that the Watch X2 will be an upgraded version of OnePlus’ current flagship smartwatch, the measurement accuracy could be improved.

If the blood pressure monitoring feature of the Oppo Watch future.
