Pan-African legal and business advisory group CLG has been named official legal partner of the first Congo Economic and Investment Forum (CEIF) 2025, which will be held in Brazzaville on March 25-26.

Specializing in the structuring, financing and development of energy projects, CLG will play a central role during this event. The general director of CLG Congo, Yves Ollivier, will intervene as a speaker to share his expertise on the Congolese energy sector, according to a press release received Tuesday by APA.

« Our strategy in Africa has been to develop our offering in Congo as a hub for CEMAC, complementing our continued growth in Africa. Building capacity and encouraging local content is key to our work in Congo said Mr. Ollivier, adding that CLG’s role as official legal partner of CEIF is a testament to the importance of this event.

The Congo Economic and Investment Forum will bring together international investors and local stakeholders to explore national and regional opportunities in the areas of energy and infrastructure. It will highlight gas-to-power projects and provide updates on ongoing expansions in the country.

Yves Ollivier said CLG represents oil and gas companies in 16 African countries, covering both emerging markets such as Namibia and Sierra Leone and established markets such as Gabon and Nigeria.

With the recent opening of an office in Pointe-Noire, CLG is now better positioned to support energy professionals in the country, providing them with legal and technical expertise to manage complex transactions in the oil, gas, mining and renewable energies.
