Gaël Monfils, after his coronation in Auckland: “My first title was 20 years ago and I still have a passion for tennis” (Tennis)

At 38 years old, what still keeps you going at the highest level?
I have a great family behind me, a lot of support, my team, my friends. Somehow no one wants me to stop (smile). I’m not saying I want to stop, but one day it will definitely happen. But I always keep the faith, the belief that I can produce good . Sometimes there are difficult times to be honest. Being far from your daughter (Skaï) is not easy. But I still do something I love, I stay in shape. My family is behind me, I just had a good week, so I tell myself that I have to continue playing tennis.
