Strings and voices gathered at the socio-cultural center of Ingwiller
As part of the “Vive les vents” musical season, the string ensemble of the intercommunal music school and the Mélodie en choir choir will give a pop-rock concert, Sunday January 12 at 4 p.m. at the Ingwiller sociocultural center.
Strings associated with the choir Melody in choir
Directed by Aurélian Andrei, the string ensemble of the intercommunal music school, will be associated with the Mélodie en choir choir, under the direction of Thomas Kern, to offer a vibrant and eclectic concert.
With the participation of Elsa-Marie Burns, a young and talented local singer, this concert will highlight timeless music from iconic singers and groups. Among the flagship pieces, the public will be able to hear classics such as Wind of Change de Scorpions, The Winner takes it all from Abba or even These ideas by Louis Bertignac.
The strings will join forces with the singers for memorable interpretations of titles like The Show must go on of Queen or Resists de France Gall.
Around twenty musicians
The string ensemble includes around twenty musicians, most of whom come from the intercommunal music school. With its sixty members, the Mélodie en choir choir will enrich this concert with its power and energy, showing the diversity and richness of local talents.
