That’s it, the CES 2025 opened its doors in Las Vegas, manufacturers present their technological innovations and Razer is obviously on site. The manufacturer unveils today his new laptop, the Blade 16equipped with a modern configuration and as thin as ever.

The Blade 16 2025 is only 1.5cm tallit’s the laptop gaming the finest in the range of Razerbut the manufacturer has managed to fit a cutting-edge cooling system and a muscular configuration into this aluminum chassis. Here’s everything you need to know about this new Blade 16 :

The Blade 16 has been reshaped for more mobility. The new thermal cover design is just 1.5 cm thick at the thinnest point of the chassis: it is the thinnest gaming laptop designed by Razer. Despite its thinness, the Blade 16 remains extremely robust thanks to its unibody chassis precisely cut from a block of aluminum, thus optimizing its size without compromising its solidity.

To deliver such a subtle design, the Blade 16 features a next-generation vapor chamber cooling system, with dual fans capable of keeping the system efficiently cooled while remaining quiet, even during the most demanding tasks. This new cooling solution covers 57% of the motherboard surface and incorporates fins of just 0.05 mm which ensure better heat dissipation despite a more compact design.

Designed to run the most demanding tasks and produce demanding renders without blinking, the Blade 16 features a GPU up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 mobile, with 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and maximum graphics power of up to 155 W. Powered by the new NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, GeForce RTX 50 series laptop graphics cards deliver game-changing features for players and creators. Powered by powerful AI technologies, the RTX 50 series unlocks new experiences and achieves next-level graphics fidelity. Users benefit from increased performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology and ultra-fast image generation to unleash their creativity with NVIDIA Studio. They also have access to NVIDIA NIM microservices, which integrate cutting-edge AI models so that enthusiasts and developers can create AI assistants, agents, and tasks with best-in-class performance on systems optimized for NIM technology.

The Blade 16 will be equipped for the very first time with an AMD Ryzen processor – up to the flagship Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and its 12 cores / 24 threads – which is built to cope with the most demanding tasks and gaming sessions the most intense. Featuring a powerful Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of reaching 50 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second or computing power), this new processor allows users to access Copilot+ experiences, such as powerful game creation tools. images with Cocreator, live translations when watching international content with Live Captions as well as an improvement in Windows Studio Effects to energize their presentations. Finally, the speed and efficiency of 8000 MHz LPDDR5X memory allows users to be more productive, while limiting power consumption.

The Blade 16 makes the most of its 240Hz QHD+ OLED display for crisp, smooth picture quality. Thanks to its ultra-fast response time of 0.2 ms, images and colors flow quickly while ensuring minimal blur: players will be able to take extremely tight turns in the latest racing simulators or dominate the battlefield by chaining clutches in 1v5. With its thin 4.7 mm borders, the superb screen stands out as a real asset for creation by covering different color spaces certified by the CalMAN probe, ranging from Rec. 709 to Adobe RGB, via DCI-P3. A choice ally for creators, capable of adapting to all needs.

Beyond the unique design of its chassis, the Blade 16 features a new keyboard which offers an improved activation travel of 1.5 mm, i.e. a 50% greater distance, as well as an actuation force of approximately 63g for a more pleasant typing experience. The keyboard now features a row of five macro keys preconfigured in Razer Synapse for quick access to essential tools and an optimized experience for every user. These keys can also be customized to open apps, adjust settings and more. In addition to these new macro keys, the keyboard incorporates a Copilot key, allowing users to access the artificial intelligence assistant on the fly and optimize their daily tasks.

However, it is not only the typing experience that has benefited from improvements: the arrival of 6 speakers in the Blade 16’s audio system will allow it to offer the most immersive sound reproduction. Optimized by experts at THX, the Blade 16 comes with a variety of preset EQ profiles for gaming, movies, podcasts and more. The most curious can even create and customize their own equalizer in order to adjust the tones according to their preferences.

The Razer Blade 16 will be available during the first quarter of 2025, at an as yet unknown price. You can find other laptops on the store Razer.
