The management of the Olympique Safi club, under the presidency of Mohamed El Haidaoui, recently settled part of the pending salaries of its players.

According to a reliable source, the club president paid two months’ salaries to the players as well as part of the arrears owed to club employees, in an effort to reduce the debts weighing on the team, nicknamed the Safi Sharks.

However, some players continue to demand full payment of their dues, including signing bonuses. They threaten to go to the disputes commission to terminate their contracts if their demands are not met.

Furthermore, Olympique Safi supporters are urging the president to lift the recruitment ban imposed on the club, in order to allow the integration of new players in key positions requiring reinforcement during the current winter transfer window.

On a sporting level, Olympique Safi gave hope to its fans by stringing together three consecutive victories in recent days, notably by winning away against Moghreb de Fez, followed by victories against Union Touarga and Moghreb Tetouan.

Currently, Olympique Safi occupies 7th place in the Botola Pro rankings with a total of 24 points.
