the Minister of the Economy Eric Lombard speaks out in favor of “very limited” tax increases in the next budget

In an interview with La Tribune on Sunday, Eric Lombard aims to reduce the public deficit “a little above” 5% of GDP.

Eric Lombard outlined the outlines of the draft budget that he will present to the parties next week in an interview with La Tribune Sunday. He spoke out in favor of possible “very limited” tax increases, “additional savings” and for the objective of reducing the public deficit “a little above 5%” you PIB “to protect growth”.

Eric Lombard also wants to reassure the French who do not pay income tax: “We will have a budget which will include an indexation of the scale. The French who do not pay income tax today will not pay any tomorrow.”
