Due to the low number of television viewers, Christmas Eve audiences are traditionally much lower.
Tuesday, Christmas Eve, TF1 took first place in prime time with “The 12 Christmas Coups”. The variation of “12 coups de midi”, orchestrated by Jean-Luc Reichmann, entertained 2,97 millions of viewers between 9:12 p.m. and 10:31 p.m., according to Médiamétrie. This represents 25,8% of the entire public aged four and over, 25,0% 25-49 year olds and 25,3% Women responsible for purchasing aged under 50.
The continuation of the show in favor of Restos du coeur – which brought together the masters of midday Bruno, winner of the evening with Jarry, Xavier and Céline, respectively in duet with Soprano and Patrick Fiori, and the current champion Émilien, partner of Michèle Bernier – retained the attention of 2.59 million viewers between 10:40 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. (28.2% of the public, 27.4% of 25-49 year olds and 24.7% of FRDA-50). Throughout the day, TF1 escaped, with an average audience share of 21,0%. France 2 is relegated almost seven points behind (14,1%). France 3 (8,1%) takes the podium and easily beats M6, in difficulty (6,4%). In fifth position, C8 (4,7%), whose grid was nevertheless essentially made up of bloopers, equals its season record. Next, in order, Arte (3,2%), France 5 (2,8%), TMC (2,7%), RMC Story (2,0%) and W9 (1,8%). Finally, note the very bad operation of 6ter (1,1%), which marked its worst day of the season on December 24. Credited with an audience share of barely 1,0%Chérie 25, equals its lowest result of the month on this indicator.

On Sunday, December 24, 2023, “The Investigations of Véra”, British fiction with Brenda Blethyn, resonated with 1.20 million viewers, or 10.1% of the entire public.
France 2 takes the podium with “Don’t forget the children”. The musical game, variation of “Don’t forget the words!” presented by Nagui, blackmailed 1,20 million of viewers between 9:07 p.m. and 11:54 p.m., i.e. 11,7% from the public, 9,2% 25-49 year olds and 11,4% FRDA-50s. On Sunday December 24, 2023, the previous edition delighted 1.15 million viewers (10.2% of the public).
