Cheikh Yérim Seck, Senegalese media figure, spoke to clarify several subjects that fuel rumors and debates on social networks. He notably addressed questions concerning his marriage and divorce with Ngo La Diva, his supposed relationship with Nabou Dash, as well as his dispute with the influencer Adamo.
A controversial call with Adamo
The journalist is at the center of controversy after a private conversation between him and Adamo was broadcast live by the latter, a move that sparked strong reactions. According to Cheikh Yérim Seck, this act is a regrettable misunderstanding, even if it qualifies the facts. “He is like a brother to me, even if sometimes he adds more”he affirmed, emphasizing the fraternal nature of their relationship.
Seck explained that this friendship, which has lasted for about two or three years, led Adamo to visit him in his private apartment in Paris, a privilege reserved, according to him, for those close to him. He nevertheless expressed his dissatisfaction with the disclosure of their telephone exchange, stressing that he had explicitly requested that this discussion remain confidential. “Adamo is used to sharing what we confide to him, but I would have preferred it to remain private”he said.
On her marriage to Ngo La Diva
Concerning his union with Ngo La Diva, Cheikh Yérim Seck wanted to recall the principles which guided his decision. “I prefer to marry the person I love rather than remain in sin,” he explained, highlighting his religious convictions. He also defended possible accusations regarding his behavior in the relationship, saying: “It cannot be said that I failed in my financial duties or that I mistreated a woman. »
A politicization of his private life
The journalist denounced the political exploitation of this affair, believing that some are seeking to divert attention or damage his image. He wished to recall that this controversy concerns exclusively his personal life and has no link with his activities or political positions in Senegal.
