Investment and reform: seven decrees under examination at the Government Council

The Governing Council will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, announces an official press release.

On the agenda, seven draft decrees will be examined, including several aimed at strengthening regional governance and streamlining administration. Among them, two projects concern the creation of regional delegations, in particular for Tourism, Crafts, the Social and Solidarity Economy, as well as for Equipment, Water and Transport.

Other texts, such as the fifth decree, concern the improvement of processing times for investment projects, with a maximum setting of 30 days for granting the necessary administrative decisions. The sixth project, for its part, adjusts the cases where the legal deadline can be extended to allow public inquiries or technical expertise.

A final draft decree clarifies the list of administrative acts for which the silence of the administration is equivalent to an agreement, thus simplifying the procedures for citizens and investors. These adjustments are part of a desire to strengthen administrative efficiency and support the investment dynamic in the country.

The Council will conclude its work by examining proposals for appointments to higher positions, in accordance with the provisions of article 92 of the Constitution. These decrees aim to modernize the administration and support regional development projects.
