The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help to find a motorist who allegedly hit two traffic flaggers before fleeing in Quebec.
The event occurred on December 5, near the curve leading to the Dufferin-Montmorency highway, heading east, on the Félix-Leclerc highway.
Two flaggers who were busy blocking the road with cones were hit by the driver in question, who continued his route towards Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.
“The two flaggers then suffered minor injuries,” said the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) in a press release released Monday.
The suspect is believed to be between 50 and 60 years old and overweight. He has salt and pepper hair, as does his rather short beard, and reportedly smokes cigarettes.
When he was involved in the incident, he had a black t-shirt with “Head Rush” written on it.
The driver was then in a blue Chevrolet Cobalt from the years 2006 to 2010. It is a two-door vehicle, with a rear spoiler and gray five-spoke “mags”.
