The two men had just left this bar on rue de la Préfecture, accompanied by two police friends. They too were out of service.

The attackers were arrested shortly after. Heard in police custody by the SLPJ (local judicial police service), they were referred this Saturday at the end of the day. The Nice prosecutor's office took into account the aggravating circumstance of violence against police officers and requested pre-trial detention for the five suspects. All must appear this Monday before the Nice criminal court.
