Two road accidents took place this week in Geneva. Thursday morning, around 7 a.m., a head-on collision occurred between a motorist and a scooter rider on rue du Vidollet, near number 39. The motorcyclist and his vehicle were thrown several meters and the first, a forty-year-old, was taken by ambulance to hospital. His vital prognosis is in jeopardy. The car ended its journey against furniture, indicates the cantonal police.

Tuesday morning, around 7:50 a.m., another motorcyclist was also struck, this time by a light moped rider, at the intersection between Route de Base and Chemin du Pont-du-Centenaire. “It should be noted that several vehicles traveling in the direction of Avenue du Curé-Baud were stopped at the intersection. The light moped rider passed between two cars located on the crossroads, in order to progress on Chemin du Pont-du-Centenaire,” specifies the press release from the police.

Following these two accidents, the Road and Accident Brigade is looking for witnesses. They can contact +41 22 427 64 50.
