This Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Alioune Sall, Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, met with union representatives of the La Poste Group (SNTPT, SYNAP and SYNAPOSTE) to discuss current challenges and prospects for the postal sector.

During this meeting, the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs reaffirmed the State’s commitment to guaranteeing the regularity of salary payments from 2025, in order to preserve the serenity of agents and ensure the continuity of public service. He also announced the establishment of a sustainable framework to remunerate the provision of public services, while maintaining their accessibility.

Alioune Sall focused on the priorities for 2025, in particular the financial stabilization of the group, the digitalization of services, organizational strengthening and the development of agent skills.

He underlined the strategic importance of La Poste in the economic and social development of Senegal, while calling for constructive dialogue to support the necessary reforms.
