The start of July is marked by autumnal weather: you will have to be patient before seeing the sun again

This afternoon, the weather will still be divided between sunny spells and risks of showers, and temperatures will remain too low for the season with maximums between 13 and 19°C. The evening and night will be of the same ilk, the mercury could drop to 5°C in the Ardennes.

On Wednesday, the heights of Belgium will wake up in fog while the west and northwest of the country will already be soaked. The other regions of the country will not escape it for long and we will have to wait until the afternoon to find a little dry weather, from the west. The maximums will fluctuate between 12 and 19°C. Same again for the evening and the night, with the mercury which should not drop below 10°C.

Thursday will see clouds and light rain. Clear spells will gradually appear from the far west of the territory. Highs will be between 14 and 20°C and the wind will be moderate but strong on the coast, where gusts of up to 70 km/h cannot be ruled out.

Weather: an average week in sight, but no need to panic for the rest of the summer, “heat after July 10, and especially in August”

Friday will start under better auspices, but we should not get too attached to it. After the clearings, the cloud fields will take over and bring, in some places, risks of rain. The maximums will still be between 15 and 21°C, and the wind moderate, even quite strong on the coast.

The weekend should mark the return of seasonal weather. After a rainy front passes through in the morning, the sky will be sunnier in the afternoon on Saturday. Highs could reach 22°C, but the wind will remain strong. The sun will remain on Sunday, with temperatures similar to the previous day, but with less wind.

The mercury should finally start to rise from next Monday.
