My dear impertinent ones, dear impertinent ones,
It is now time to take the time to take stock of the latest rather worrying developments in the situation on the Eastern Front.
It has not escaped your notice that we have just “celebrated” 1,000 days of war. It will also not have escaped your attention that if the media tell you about the 1,000 days of war, they do not tell you about the million dead and wounded in the Ukrainian trenches. After all we could also have celebrated “the million”. War is so joyous according to our journalists on set, so necessary, so essential… Killing? No… individual reduction in lifespan is more appropriate. It's less scary for Mr. and Mrs. Michu who have to vote “for” the war, “for” sending their own kid to have their life expectancy reduced, but that doesn't matter, it's to prevent Putin from 'invade Europe.
That being said, I will try to be analytical.
In this new phase everything started with the announcement of the arrival of North Korean soldiers. This is obviously an “asymmetry” of combat and an “escalation” on the part of Russia. By taking supplements from an ally, either to help Ukraine we also send men and in this case we would be cobelligerent and officially at war against Russia, or we send more powerful weapons to try to balance the fight. The Ukrainians, short of cannon fodder, will not be able to resist the arrival of North Korean reinforcements. It is therefore this context and this movement by Putin which triggers this new phase of escalation.
As you see, the reaction of Biden, and therefore American for the current administration, which does not want peace but the continuation of the war to continue to weaken everyone, that is to say Russia in the first place , but also the rest of the European Union has been to authorize the use of long-range weapons… but not within reach of Moscow!
Following this rather indelicate decision on Biden's part in this transition period, when President-elect Trump wants to change gear and build peace and a ceasefire, he gave a speech of rare clarity. The translation of this video is correct. Listen to Trump. This speech has in no way been picked up by our mainstream media, yet it is essential that you read it.
He talks about something fundamental in particular. The cause of the 24 years of war that we have just experienced since the September 11 attacks which were the breaking point between a world at peace and a world officially at war “against terror”. For Trump they are the neocons and they are sowing chaos all over the planet, becoming the very enemies of the United States by transforming the country into a third world country, because war is obviously ruinous.
Trump also talks about the end of the world and total nuclear war which he would rather avoid, which personally also suits me. Not frying in the 10 million degrees of Tsar Bomba with my kids is for me a more pleasant prospect than the opposite. I'm a coward. I know. It's ugly. Trump probably too.
Now that you have listened to this speech about the need for peace made by Trump, whether you like it or not, carrying the idea of peace still seems to me clearly more human than defending the idea of pushing them to kill each other to the last, even if it is excellent for the profits of the military-industrial complex, you have to listen to this intervention on C Politique, a public service a few days ago describing Trump as Adolf Hilter.
Normally at this point you have understood the semantic inversion.
Those who talk about war are the real fascists who accuse those who talk about peace of being so.
Don't be fooled.
And share this article.
There is no support for this war.
None.
Putin will never invade the rest of Europe. Firstly because he can't even invade Ukraine, and secondly because we would use nuclear weapons and we would all die in a huge fire of “joy”.
At some point we still have to make the effort to recognize propaganda and lies for what they are. At a certain level, intellectual laziness becomes complicity and guilt.
As for the markets… they are no surprise!
The stock markets are falling, especially in Europe, and the old Europe is not at the end of its troubles if we continue on this destructive trajectory (including economically), the VIX, the fear index increases, the euro falls against the dollar or the Swiss franc, gold rises as the ultimate safe haven, and obviously the dollar appreciates since the “rich” Europeans put their money in the United States or Switzerland (this is what we call smart money ).
Below the VIX so-called fear or volatility index. When it goes up it's not good. When it goes down it's good. The lower it is, the better. Note that we have experienced much worse!
Below are the prices of the euro against the dollar…. I'm not hiding from you that it's falling… but I'm not telling you anything since it can be seen like the graph in the middle of the figure!
Let us therefore hope that the so-called long-range missiles, but which are in reality medium-range (300 kilometers) and do not allow (in theory) to hit Moscow, remain sufficiently few in number, serving only to balance the forces vis-à-vis -vis the North Korean reinforcements and that the escalation does not become unmanageable and the situation out of control until Trump actually arrives in the Oval Office.
It will then be time to talk about peace… hoping that war does not become total in the meantime.
I'll leave you. There are organic ravioli that have just arrived at Carrefour.
It's already too late, but all is not lost.
Get ready!
