CThis time, Arizona seems launched. Seems, we write, because this is not the first time that the five parties have said they are ready to negotiate together with a view to the formation of a federal government, before everything finally collapses a few days or weeks later. But, all the same, this time there are reasons to think that the five parties of the potential future federal coalition (N-VA, MR, Les Engagés, CD&V and Vooruit) really want to succeed. The trainer, Bart De Wever, worked hard to bring the Flemish socialists back to the negotiating table. He achieved this not without difficulty, with a dose of suspense as a bonus, Conner Rousseau leaving everyone in the dark on Thursday evening, before finally giving the green light this Friday noon. In a press release, the president of the Socialists declared that he was “ready to take responsibility for all ordinary citizens who count on Vooruit to protect their purchasing power and their health”.
