The events took place this Thursday, November 14, early in the afternoon, in an apartment in Savigny-sur-Orge, in Ile-de-France.
According to information from Le Parisien, at least three police officers were injured during an intervention this Thursday, November 14, in an apartment located in Savigny-sur-Orge, in Ile-de-France, where there were crack sellers.
Two officials were reportedly bitten by a dog and another was injured with a hatchet. The latter was then transferred to hospital.
Seven people arrested
Inside, the five occupants of the accommodation and two buyers of crack and cocaine were arrested by the police.
“A surveillance system had been put in place. When they entered the home to arrest them, they faced five people […] This level of violence is unheard of. When you attack a police officer with a bladed weapon, it is attempted homicide.” explains an official to our colleagues.
Contacted by Le Parisien, the departmental director of public security (DDSP), Jean-Marc Luca, welcomed “the composure and admirable courage of the police officers who do a difficult job without ever giving up the fight against drug trafficking.”
