The city of dukes finds itself in the grip of a dark series of score-settling, against a backdrop of drug trafficking. The town hall ensures that it is monitoring the situation, while several investigations are underway.

Eventful autumn in the city of dukes. Since October, not a week has passed in without a new episode of gunfire or settling of scores. These incidents sometimes amount to a few shell casings left on the public highway. They also regularly come close to tragedy, with projectiles flying into the apartments of local residents and emergency rooms which receive, in turn, wounded people with lead-perforated abdomens, scarred faces or bloody legs. As a precaution in the face of the violence, the socialist town hall went so far as to partially close a gymnasium for several evenings in a row.

Again on Tuesday, November 12, after yet another eventful weekend, a thirty-year-old was stabbed in broad daylight by a gang of hooded individuals. A police officer was injured in the head during an anti-narcotics check in Saint-Herblain, in the western suburbs of Nantes. And, a few hours later, the CRS 82 was deployed to secure a sector of the northern districts, three days after intervening in Bottière, another sensitive district of the city. A sequence offered to the city of dukes by its drug trafficking networks.
