Enzo Lottin, who was the seventh overall pick in the last midget auction of the Maritimes Quebec Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) by the Victoriaville Tigres, has decided to come home.

The 5’8″ small forward played with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) as he eventually wanted to continue his hockey career in American universities. However, the 16-year-old had not yet decided on a university.

“It was to maintain his eligibility for American universities that Enzo decided to go to the BCHL. We respected his decision, but we are very happy to have him back with us soon,” Tigres general manager Kevin Cloutier said in a press release.

Lottin will take a flight to Quebec in the coming days and should join his new teammates in Victoriaville afterwards.

In 18 games in Chilliwack, he had 13 points, including four goals. Last season, he scored 37 points in 41 games and then added 18 points in just 15 playoff games with the Estacades de Trois-Rivières in the U18 AAA Development Hockey League.
