A major player in the global red fruit market with sustained growth in its red fruit sector, Morocco has positioned itself among the world’s largest exporters (5th place in the world for the export of blueberries), recalls the same source.

The country currently represents around 10% of global red fruit exports, a share that is constantly increasing thanks to innovation efforts and environmentally friendly production.

In 2023, the Kingdom exported more than 200,000 tonnes of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, generating more than $600 million in revenue.

This strategic sector is a pillar of the Moroccan agricultural economy, creating thousands of jobs and supporting the income of many rural families.
