Orange Money Abidjan recrute un (e) Solution Architect Design Authority

As a Solution Architect, you design the solution architecture to meet business requirements, collaborate with different teams to align solutions with OMG strategy, provide technical prerequisites to internal and external entities, and ensure component consistency while respecting the constraints of costs, deadlines and quality, before validating the solutions implemented.

As such, you will be responsible for the following missions (this list is not exhaustive):

Engineering Design Leadership

• Supervise the technical design of products and solutions within the technical management teams;
• Lead discussions on the architecture, technologies and frameworks to use;

Developing and Implementing Design Standards

• Define and implement design standards and best practices to guarantee the consistency, reliability and security of the solutions developed by the teams.

Assessment of solutions, risks and impacts

• Participate in the evaluation of proposed technical solutions by examining their adequacy in relation to requirements, their technical feasibility and their alignment with the strategic objectives of the company;
• Evaluate technical risks associated with design decisions and identify potential impacts on system performance, security and scalability;
• Analyze and evaluate the impacts on the existing ecosystem;
• Solicit the necessary experts according to the areas and needs;

Propose architectures and solutions

• Define the functional and technical architectures of products and solutions in alignment with customer challenges;
• Create and validate prototypes with the business teams involved (marketing, operations, User eXperience, etc.).
• Carry out the mapping of the architecture of the Orange Money ecosystem and its urban planning;
• Ensure the consistency of the different subsystems and their integration into the overall architecture of OMG;
• Recommend technical choices (Framework, languages, tools, etc.);
• Design and implement solutions for connecting partners to the Orange Money ecosystem (VPN, GW API, etc.).

Provide support and accompany

• Assist business teams in understanding the technical solutions proposed;
• Contribute during the definition and development of functional and technical specifications;
• Support business, technical and software deployment;
• Providing expertise and advice, supporting complex projects, IT transformation, etc.

Be the preferred point of contact

• For the definition of the overall Orange Money solution (transactional core, addons, components, etc.) in collaboration with all internal (INNOV, DF, etc.) and external stakeholders (Publisher/Supplier of the Mobile Money solution, etc.) .);
• Technical entities including development factories (INNOV, DF, etc.) and multi-country partners for any technical and functional issues related to Orange Money solutions;

Carry out technology monitoring and promote good practices

• Ensure technological monitoring to offer solutions up to date with market trends;
• Promote to developers, integrators, suppliers, project managers, etc. best practices for solution architecture;
• Contribute to the development and improvement of OMG solutions architecture standards.

your profile

Formation:

Engineering degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.

Experience:

Have a professional experience of at least 5 years in the field of solutions architecture, preferably in a complex enterprise environment Having a certification in solutions architecture (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) is a more.

LANGUAGES

Fluency in French and English.
