During his appearance on the program Grandes Gueules on the private television channel Sen Tv broadcast this Friday, Adama Faye, brother-in-law of ex-president Macky Sall, publicly made accusations of corruption involving the former head of the State and its former Prime Minister, Amadou Ba. According to him, money is at the origin of the tensions between the head of the Takku Wallu Senegal coalition list and the one who leads the Jamm ag njariñ coalition.
“It is a question of money which opposes the two men. I knew it through Macky Sall,” said Adama Faye.
This revelation sparked a reaction from the former Prime Minister, support of the ruling Pastef party on social networks. Aminata Touré expressed her indignation at these accusations of corruption at the top of the State, especially since they come from someone close to the ex-president. She writes on her Facebook page: “The words of Adama Faye, brother-in-law of former President Macky Sall, publicly reporting acts of corruption between Macky SALL and his former Prime Minister Amadou BA are extremely serious!
The Senegalese must be informed without delay about this public denunciation never seen in Senegal involving a former president and his Prime Minister.
For the moment, neither Macky Sall nor Amadou Ba have reacted publicly to these statements.
