The consultations took place in the spirit of strengthening cooperation between Astana and Rabat.

During the consultations, the parties highly appreciated the results achieved during the interaction and expressed their desire to further expand partnerships.

The two sides discussed in detail ways to intensify political dialogue and comprehensively strengthen ties at different levels: inter-parliamentary cooperation, consolidation of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian projects.

An important objective was to expand the legal framework governing relations between the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of increasing trade turnover and expanding the range of products, investment exchange, as well as establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

Prospects for cooperation in areas such as transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, mining and IT technologies were also discussed.

A significant part of the consultations was dedicated to the exchange of views on major regional and international issues.

The prospects of joint work within international platforms such as the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the African Union, the Islamic Organization for Food Security (OISA), the SCO and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) were discussed on the agenda.

At the end of the consultations, the parties signed a protocol which established the main directions to further strengthen the bilateral partnership.
