- The inauguration of the new Siegfried R&D center was held in the presence of the management of the Aargau company but also in the presence of the president of the commune of Évionnaz, Valérie Santacroce-Tacchini, and Christophe Darbellay, Advisor to Valais state in charge of the economy and training.
The Siegfried company inaugurated its new Research and Development center on Tuesday morning in Évionnaz. World leader in the pharmaceutical sector, the Aargau company has invested 25 million francs in its new setting.
The Aargau company Siegfried inaugurated its Research and Development center in Évionnaz on Tuesday morning. The four-story building will create nearly 40 jobs and house around a hundred specialists. With 4,500 square meters, it is the result of an investment of 25 million francs which should make it possible to strengthen the competitiveness of the company, a world leader in pharmaceuticals.

Good news for the Évionnaz authorities, who view this development favorably. The successful completion of this project also demonstrates the good relations that exist between the two entities, as confirmed by the president of the municipality, Valérie Santacroce-Tacchini.
The new Research and Development site will strengthen the existing one in Zofingen, Siegfried’s head office.
