At 80, Sylvie Vartan made a big decision. After his series of concerts, the singer decided to stop her career. On the occasion of an interview for our colleagues from Parisianduring which she was questioned by readers, David Hallyday's mother returned to several subjects including her relationship with Johnny Hallyday. To which Sylvie Vartan responds: “To tell the truth, it was only with Johnny that I really shared a stage, that we really sang together. I did duets especially for the Carpentier shows on television, it was a lot of fun. But on stage… It's always the same story, you have to be free. With Johnny, it was also a way of seeing ourselves”she says, laughing.
