New twist in the Slimane affair. The Saint-Étienne (Loire) public prosecutor's office has opened a preliminary investigation “concerning acts of sexual harassment aggravated by the use of a digital or electronic medium” against the singer, who represented France at Eurovision 2024, according to information from BFMTV confirmed by The Parisian .
The investigation was entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS) of the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police of the Loire, indicated the public prosecutor of Saint-Etienne in a press release, this Thursday, November 7, 2024 .
A complaint from one of its technicians
The 35-year-old singer has been the target of a complaint from a tour technician since October 28. The facts allegedly took place after a concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne, on the night of December 17 to 18, 2023, during the singer's “Cupidon Tour”.

According to the complaint, France's representative at Eurovision 2024 allegedly “imposed an embrace” to the technician, before taking him to his dressing room. After leaving there, the victim allegedly received, during the night, a “multitude of messages and videos of a sexual, even pornographic nature”.
Despite this complaint, the artist won, Friday 1is November, the trophy for French-speaking male artist at the NRJ Music Awards.
