Two children, aged 1 and 4, were discovered decapitated in their home on the night of Monday November 4 to Tuesday November 5 in Sainte-Rose, Guadeloupe, announced the Pointe-à-Pitre prosecutor's office.
The mother of the children, who was arrested, was initially placed in police custody then released for psychiatric incompatibility. She was hospitalized. The father was taken care of by emergency services, according to our colleagues from Guadeloupe La 1ère.
An investigation into “murder by ascendant of minors under 15 years of age” has been opened, according to Caroline Calbo, prosecutor of Pointe-à-Pitre. She was entrusted to the Pointe-à-Pitre gendarmerie research brigade.
