[Mise à jour du lundi 4 novembre 2024 à 14h 35] Reinforced police patrols in the RER R.

Four people were injured, including two seriously, this Monday, November 4, 2024 around 8 a.m., at Ozoir-la-Ferrière station (Seine-et-Marne), learned The Republic of Seine-et-Marne from a police source and from the SNCF, confirming information from theAFP.

Four stabbed at Ozoir-la-Ferrière station

According to our information, the facts could have occurred within the framework of a brawl between rival gangs. Around ten people were waiting on the platform when the train entered the station. They then entered the train and attacked other people present on the train, in particular with at least one bladed weapon.

Is this an ambush? Of an appointment made to fight it out? The police investigation will have to determine this. One of the victims was reportedly hit in the head and the second had injuries to a finger, a wound on the back, hands and biceps. They were transported to hospitals in the region, in serious condition. Two other people were slightly injured.

Disturbances on the RER E in both directions

For the moment, information regarding the nature of the weapon is contradictory, but all suggest a bladed weapon. Some sources mention an ax and others a dagger. What is certain is that when emergency services and law enforcement arrived, the attackers had fled. A police investigation was opened to find them and clarify the facts.

Contacted, the RER E on-call indicates that traffic is disrupted in both directions, specifically to allow the intervention of emergency services and the police. By early afternoon, traffic was back to normal in both directions.
