One of the greatest names in music of the last century passed away on Sunday at the age of 91.

American music producer Quincy Jones died on Sunday at the age of 91 in his home in Los Angeles, various media reported on Monday.

“We announce this evening with great pain in our hearts, the passing of our father and brother Quincy Jones,” the family said in a statement published, among others, by the Associated Press. “While this is a huge loss for us, we celebrate the beautiful life he lived and know there will never be anyone like him again.”

Quincy Jones has collaborated with many music heavyweights throughout his career. He notably worked with Michael Jackson, producing the hit albums Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad. Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and Donna Summer are some of the other names the producer has been able to collaborate with.
