UA shooting broke out during the night from Thursday to Friday in front of a restaurant in Poitiers (west of France) during which five people were seriously injured, announced French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau, who linked these shootings to drug trafficking. Among the victims is a 15-year-old teenager, who is between life and death, according to a police source.
The Minister of the Interior added on BFMTV/RMC that “several hundred people” had witnessed or participated in this shooting.
The events took place in the Couronneries district, said the prefect of Vienne in a message posted on the social network X. Reinforcements will be “deployed” on Friday, wrote the prefect.
“It started with a shooting at a restaurant and ended with a brawl between rival gangs which involved several hundred people. I am told of 4 to 600 people, according to the prefect’s report,” detailed Bruno Retailleau.
The minister estimated that we were “at a tipping point”, while he had to go to Rennes, in Brittany, where a five-year-old child is between life and death after being shot in the head last Saturday, as part of a settling of scores linked to drug trafficking.
