OLYMPIC GAMES – The six corners of France and numerous overseas territories. The Olympic flame will travel almost all of France between now and July 26, the day of the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games. Before arriving on the Seine, the flame arriving in Marseille on Wednesday May 8 will have crossed around sixty departments, more than 400 municipalities and numerous symbolic places.

More than 10,000 people, known or anonymous, will pass on the torch designed by designer Mathieu Lehanneur. Everyone will travel approximately 200 meters, always under high security.

The second part of the journey in France will begin in Nice on June 18 before a first visit to Paris on July 14 where it will return on the day of the opening ceremony.
