“Tuesday May 7, 2024, the Traffic Directorate of the Brussels Capital / Ixelles police zone removed from traffic a motorcyclist who had committed several speeding violations in recent weeks. The driver stood out by being flashed up to eight times at different times, mainly on Allée Verte, Avenue du Parc Royal and Quai des Usines, by holding out his middle finger to the radar. You should know that the speed is limited to 50 km/h in all these places. The motorcyclist was going at least 72 km/h, with peaks at 132 and 137 km/h,” reports the communications unit of the Brussels Capital/Ixelles police, supporting photo.

Result ? “Images of the motorcycle and its driver were broadcast, and it was a Traffic Directorate patrol which noticed the motorcyclist in traffic in Laeken this Tuesday, May 7, 2024. It turned out that he was in lack of papers and driving license (unsuitable for driving a motorcycle) and must still pay a total of 3,840 euros in fines. His motorcycle, fitted with a French registration plate, was legally towed and his driving license was withdrawn for a period of 15 days,” she adds!
