The Oilers quickly took control of the duel, leading 3-0 after 20 minutes of play.

McDavid made it 3-0 by scoring on a power play with 1:26 left in the period.

Doughty found the back of the net early in the second period, but Kane responded just over two minutes later to give the Oilers a three-goal lead at 7:39 of play.
