Swiss Gustin shines in the aquatic event

The candidate from Yverdon was a hit in one of the aquatic events of Koh-Lanta: the cursed island. A lifeguard by profession, he slipped through the water like a fish in water. But some criticize his arrogance and others recall the accusations of aggression that target him.

Gustin, the Swiss candidate who talks like he’s in the Ovomaltine ad, knows how to swim. He proved it on Tuesday, September 17, in the immunity test, a Koh-Lanta classic that involves holding your breath and searching for stones submerged under water. Some of them are more than 25 meters away.

But before telling you about Gustin’s performance, let’s relive together the poor performance of Gérard, a former Koh-Lanta candidate nicknamed Gégé and that Twitter users were delighted to bring out of the archives:

Legend has it that he is still there:

Unlike Gégé, Gustin is a real shark in the water. Facing him in the underwater events, the bar is high. He flew over the immunity test and allowed his team, the Reds, to avoid the Council.

We knew that the Swiss was good at swimming. In the first episode of Koh-Lanta: The Cursed Island, when the candidates jump out of a pirogue to reach their beach, he had already had time to dry his hair, make himself a coffee and chat with Denis Brogniart before the second one had arrived.

On Twitter, some Internet users worship the Swiss candidate. But be careful, Gustin is sometimes arrogant and this character trait could play tricks on him. As the wise old Franck Ribéry would say, “the tables will turn quickly.” So watch out for the turns around Gustin.

When people start comparing you to Gaston, it’s not good news:

Reading this tweet, we can almost hear his voice:

Revered by some, others point out that Gustin lacks tact and especially that in real life, not that of immunity necklaces and Anito, he is accused of assaulting three security guards, one woman has a broken nose.

“Ultra pretentious, makes a lot of misogynistic remarks, keeps complaining about being hungry. And the case where he allegedly punched a security guard doesn’t help matters.”

We told you about it here:

And otherwise, here is the black cat from Koh-Lanta

Last week, Cassandre broke a record: that of the number of black balls drawn by the same person on Koh-Lanta. This week, it’s the same story again. The candidate of the red team, drew her seventh black ball in a row. But the turns around still turned out for the 23-year-old. She was finally able to stretch her legs during the immunity challenge.

That she never registers with Motus:

Oddly enough, the previous record for black balls drawn in the history of Koh-Lanta was held by a… Cassandra. In 2016, this candidate drew five black balls in a row. The last one was fatal since it was the black ball during the Ambassadors’ meeting. Will Cassandra 2024 experience the same fate?
