While pop icons are singing at the Democratic convention, country music artists are singing Donald Trump’s praises among Republicans. The social divides in the United States are reflected in the respective support for the two camps.

Anyone who, while surfing the Internet in recent days, came across the Democratic Party Convention in Chicago might have thought for a moment that they were in the middle of a large discotheque. Indeed, the musical performances were more striking than the political speeches. For the occasion, the « DNC House Band » was tasked with keeping the party going with plenty of bass. The Democrats had hired DJ Cassidy as their master of ceremonies.
