The production company that worked with NewJeans was fired.
Since its beginnings, the girlgroup worked with the production company Dolphiners Films. It is to this company that we owe the whole concept around “Ditto” with the 6th girl who accompanies the NewJeans and the concept of the MV filmed by this girl with a camcorder.
Recently, Dolphiners films then officially announced their dismay because HYBE and the new management of ADOR fired them and asked them to stop publishing videos and to delete all their content from NewJeans.
In the words of HYBE:
“All NewJeans content should only be posted on official HYBE channels, not on external channels.”
Still according to HYBE, it is a theft of the artists’ image to publish these videos on channels other than the official HYBE channels.
Dolphiners Films has therefore deleted all of its content related to NewJeans, thus losing everything that had been built.
NewJeans fans have since expressed their anger at the agency and believe that HYBE is sabotaging the group by now getting rid of the studio that had worked on the group’s identity.
A petition signed by ADOR fans and employees has been forwarded to HYBE demanding that HYBE stop its work within ADOR and replace Min Hee Jin as the head of the agency.
