The man was arrested on Monday, January 13, and four other suspects were arrested in the United States at the same time. The involvement of the young Limburger is the subject of an investigation, the Limburg public prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday.
As part of an ongoing judicial investigation, the Limburg judicial police raided a house in Maasmechelen on January 13. A 19-year-old man was deprived of his liberty and then placed under arrest warrant by the investigating judge. His arrest has since been confirmed by the council chamber.
