MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2024 has been rescheduled!
Due to the tragic Jeju Air plane crash that occurred at the end of December 2024, and after the announcement of the national mourning period in South Korea, MBC decided to cancel its end-of-year music festival .

At the end of December, MBC announced the cancellation of the festival and its live broadcast. However, it was revealed that the pre-recorded performances would subsequently be broadcast at a later date during a special program.
-This January 15, 2025, MBC then announced that the new broadcast dates for its Gayo had been decided.
MBC Gayo Daejejeon 2025 will be divided into two parts for a special broadcast on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. The festival will be broadcast on MBC on January 29 and 30.
