Currently in full promotion of her new album, on which she reinterprets some of her biggest hits, Jenifer gave an interview to Monaco Matin on Thursday December 19, 2024. In it, the former winner of the Star Academy confides in particular on her reunion with Maxim Nucci, the father of her first child.

An essential figure in the French musical landscape for more than 20 years, Jenifer has had a string of albums and successes since her participation in the Star Academy on TF1. For the record, the musician revealed herself to the general public during the very first season of the talent show broadcast in 2001 on the first channel. A competition that she ultimately won hands downthus allowing her to launch her singing career off to a flying start. Jenifer recently returned to the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys to meet the students of the 2024 class of the program. The musician is currently in the middle of a promotional tour for her new album called Jukebox. On this disc, the singer reinterprets several hits that made her successful between 2002 and 2012. At the time, she had notably worked with her former partner Maxim Nucci, who is also the father of her eldest son Aaron.
“With Max, we discuss an album project. We always said we were going to meet again. We are passionate. We live Music and it is also this passion that linked us. We took time to build the architecture of the Lunatique album at the time, with a fairly unique artistic direction. The idea would not be to do the same thing again today but to adopt an approach that is just as relevant. (…) He also came to my last concert at the Cabaret Sauvage (19th century), in Paris, with his wife (the journalist Isabelle Ithurburueditor’s note) and my ex-in-laws. “We always had this desire to collaborate together again. We have excellent memories of my third album. And me, I have always greatly admired his work, from the beginning. It was bound to happen. He is someone very instinctive, who needs to feel things in order to capture them, to be able to collaborate. It’s not a machine, really. He is as complex and simple as me. That’s what I like about him. And after so many experiences, on his side as well as mine, we said to ourselves that maybe now was the moment.”Jenifer had also clarified during another interview given to 7 Days TV. For the record, the musician is also the mother of two other children. First there was Joseph, born in 2014 during his relationship with actor Thierry Neuvic. Then Juvanni, born in 2021 from her marriage to Ambroise Fieschi.
