SM launches auditions to recruit trainees born between 2005 and 2015 – K-GEN

SM Entertainment recently announced the “SM Global Auditions 2025” to unearth its future talents!

Next year, the agency will launch auditions across the world to recruit trainees, and the cities involved have been revealed, as has the age requirement for participants.

Auditions will officially begin in January 2025 in South Korea, with auditions scheduled to take place in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Jeonju, Gwangju and Wonju. In February, it will continue in China, with auditions in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai. In March, SM Entertainment will continue in Japan with auditions in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Finally, at the beginning of May, auditions in the United States will take place in Los Angeles, then in Canada in Toronto.

Anyone born between 2005 and 2015 can apply, regardless of gender and nationality. You can show off your singing, dancing, rapping and acting skills. It is possible to apply for the auditions in Asia on the official SM auditions website (global-audition.smtown.com). As for applications for the United States and Canada, they will open on March 28.

Obviously, the minimum age requirement is already causing reactions on the internet, knowing that children born in 2015 are not yet 10 years old…
