The collaboration between Booba and SDM proved to be a winning combination. Indeed, the emblematic figure of French rap has decided to highlight a promising young talent. The title “Daddy” therefore quickly won over the public. Indeed, the lyrics are particularly impactful, and the melodies are catchy. Therefore, it was almost obvious that this title would be crowned diamond. As a reminder, 500,000 copies must be sold for diamond disc certification to be awarded.

The two rappers are ready for new adventures

This is not the first time that Booba and SDM have obtained such an award. Indeed, the hit “Dolce Camara”, released on Kopp’s album “Ad vitam æternam” at the beginning of 2024, had already been certified diamond. For its part, the single “Daddy” was released in 2021. It was produced by Bramsito & Trent 700. It is taken from the SDM album, entitled “Ocho”. The SNEP has just made its certification official, since the song has exceeded 500,000 stream equivalents.
